ART: “Henry Moore & Greece”

Gagosian is launching the upcoming art season with the exhibition “Henry Moore and Greece,” organized in collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation. The opening will take place on September 12 at 6 p.m. This marks the first time in twenty years that the artist’s work is being exhibited in Greece. Selected works from his career highlight the fascination that ancient Greek art held for him, a relationship that developed after his trip to Greece in 1951—just months before his first retrospective at Tate in London.
